Why should I join when I already have Google Maps?
Keep your Google listing. KabayanPros works alongside it. People come here when they want to find and support Filipino-owned businesses, or when they need several related services at once, like a fence, a garage and a cleaner after buying a home.
Is listing my business really free?
Yes. While KabayanPros launches, every business gets the full profile for free: photos, services, your story and quote requests by email. There is no card and no trial.
Do I need a website?
No. Your KabayanPros profile can be your online presence. If you have a Facebook or Instagram page, you can link that instead.
How does verification work?
We confirm your email and review your public information, usually within 2 business days. For trades that need a licence in Alberta, we may record that we checked it. Filipino ownership is self-declared. Verification is never sold.
Will you start charging later?
Maybe, for optional extras once KabayanPros has grown. If we do, we will tell you well before anything changes. Badges will never be for sale.
Will I get guaranteed customers?
No, and nobody can honestly promise that. KabayanPros helps more people find you and makes it easy to reach you. Results depend on your services, your area and how quickly you reply.
Can I edit my listing later?
Anytime. Sign in with a code and edit your profile right on the page. Changing your business name or category may go through a quick review again.
What are the Business Guidelines?
Be honest about who you are and what you do. Hold any licence your work requires and follow Canadian law. Only post photos of your own work. Use a customer's details only to reply to their request. We may pause a listing that breaks these.
